Joshua has lived in The Woodlands, Conroe, and Houston areas for more than 20 years and now resides with his wife and three children on a one-acre homestead in The Woodlands area. A graduate of the top-ranked Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Houston, Josh combines deep local knowledge with a strategic business mindset.He began investing in real estate in 2012 and quickly became the go-to resource for friends and family navigating their own real estate journeys. As demand grew, he formally launched his business—and in 2021, the J. Want Group joined Compass, now the #1 listing brokerage in Greater Houston and the largest independent brokerage in the U.S.

Before stepping fully into real estate, Josh spent 15 years leading marketing, communications, and business development efforts for national firms. His proudest accomplishment: helping launch a $30MM public education campaign focused on plastics recycling, innovative recycling technologies, and environmental stewardship.

Today, Josh brings that same blend of strategy, marketing expertise, insight, and execution to every transaction—offering clients deep expertise in negotiation, finance, and market analytics. Since 2012, he has helped hundreds families, investors, and professionals achieve their real estate goals across Greater Houston.
